"Lampatron" blends "lamp" - light's timeless spark - with "patron," echoing Thomas Edison's role as the ultimate patron of invention, whose genius birthed the modern bulb from hidden workshops. In fact, Thomas did not invent the light bulb - the idea had been proposed long before him. Edison succeeded in developing the first incandescent lamp that was profitable in terms of production and sales. Thomas can be called one of the most prolific inventors in world history.
